Alaska Air Cancels Flights Due to Volcanic Ash

Alaska Airlines was forced to cancel nearly 50 flights between the state of Alaska and Lower 48 states and had to add flights to re-accommodate about 5,200 passengers affected by earlier cancellations due to the threat of volcanic ash.
