Yingling Aviation Expands

Based at Wichita’s Mid-Continent Airport, Yingling (a Cessna affiliate GA service provider) announced that it would add 9,000 square feet of hangar and office space to its facilities to accommodate McCauley propeller overhaul and service. The $1.5 million addition will be completed by March 2008 and airport ground has already been purchased. The new addition will also allow the company to centralize and enlarge its shipping and receiving departments, parts inventory and tool cribs. Also, an expanded paint shop will be created and two segregated battery rooms for testing and charging added. A new garage for ground equipment will also be added. “In anticipation of composite propellers becoming more commonplace in years ahead, we are taking the necessary steps now to position Yingling to provide state-of-the-art service and support for them,” stated Lynn Nichols, president of Yingling.
