VEM Wins Heavy Mx Contract

Canadan company Air Transat has selected VEM Maintenance & Engineering to supply maintenance for four Airbus A310s. Services will be carried out at VEM’s hangar in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The first aircraft was scheduled to arrive for a C-check on Sept. 24, with two others delivered in October and the last in November. The contract includes an option for six additional A310s that would arrive in early 2009.
