Universal Avionics EFI-890R Displays STC’d for the Gulfstream G-II, G-IIB and G-III

Universal Avionics announced the first ever FAA STC certification for its EFI-890R Display retrofit into a Gulfstream G-III on 25-June-2007 by IFR Avionics, Inc. in Van Nuys, CA. The G-III has also been equipped with Universals Synthetic Vision System “Vision-1TM”, the Application Server Unit providing Jeppesen charts for a paperless cockpit and interfaced with dual UNS-1 Flight Management Systems' and Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) Class A. This FAA STC encompasses Gulfstream Models G-II, G-IIB and G-III.
