U. S. Navy Contracts GE

General Electric Aviation, Lynn, Mass., was awarded $25,321,000 for repairable components of the T64 engine on the H53 aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (87 percent) and Cherry Point, N.C. (13 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the contract ordering period. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity. For related news
