TAM Receives EASA Mx Certificate

Sao Carlos, Brazil-based TAM Technological Center has obtained EASA certification to conduct maintenance on Airbus A321 and A330 aircraft. The approval allows TAM to offer all major scheduled maintenance (C and D checks) on aircraft registered in Europe. Services from the center will expand for A319/A320/A321, A330 and Fokker 100 jets. TAM says that the certification is part of a strategy to transform its technological center into an MRO business unit that offers maintenance to third parties.
