Summit Aviation to Receive $2.5M Infusion

Greenwich AeroGroup is investing $2.5 million to modernize its Summit Aviation aircraft maintenance complex in Middletown, Del. Included in the site revisions will be another 30,000 square feet of new hangar and office space. Work on the project has already begun, with completion projected for April 2010. Summit’s campus in Middletown will cover around 175,000 square feet once the expansion is finished. Summit offers maintenance and modifications on Bell, Boeing, Eurocopter, MD and Sikorsky helicopters, as well as fixed-wing aircraft such as the Beechjet, Cessna Caravan, King Air and Pilatus lines.
