SpiceJet Taps MAS Aerospace for Support

MAS Aerospace Engineering has finalized a three-year contract to supply maintenance and support services for SpiceJet’s fleet of Boeing 737NGs. The agreement covers SpiceJet’s existing fleet of 19 aircraft, which will undergo C-checks and heavy checks at the MAS facility in Malaysia from 2010 through 2013. The airline plans to incorporate another 12 737NGs into its fleet over the next two years. MAS is a subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines and SpiceJet.
