Silicone Material Selection Guide Published

Rogers Corp. has issued a 16-page selection guide for its BISCO silicone material. Available in cellular, solid and specialty grades, the silicone is used on gaskets and seals, high-temperature PCB thermal insulation and battery shields, and vibration and acoustic mitigation pads. The guide includes samples and advice for selecting materials based on the application, as well as specification tables for cellular and solid-grade silicones. Additional tables cover acoustic and thermal performance, thickness and width tolerances, aerospace specifications and product availability.
