Shannon Inks Air Mediterranee Contract

Air Mediterranee has contracted Shannon Aerospace to conduct a 12-year check and Rib 5 replacement on one of its Airbus A321s. Plans call for the aircraft to arrive at the company’s hangar in Shannon, Ireland on Oct. 29, when maintenance will begin. A full stripping and painting will also occur before the A321 is redelivered to Air Mediterranee. The agreement represents the first contract between the two companies.
