ST Aerospace Adds Hangars

One of the Singapore hangars is operationally ready and equipped to perform heavy maintenance and modification for a range of aircraft. The new single-bay hangar cost $10 million and is in addition to a 12-bay MRO facility opened in Panama this year. The airline will open another new hangar in Singapore in 2008, which will cost about $17.3 million to build. This additional two-bay hanger will accommodate up to two narrow-body aircraft. ST Aerospace now has eight wide-body and 11 narrow-body bays in Singapore.
