Swiss maintenance firm SR Technics is receiving interest from more than 20 parties proposing to take over all or parts of its operation at Dublin Intl Airport (DUB). In mid-February, the company announced plans to close the Dublin maintenance facility — resulting in the loss of 1,135 jobs — and enter into consultations with the unions representing those workers. But a company spokesperson told the Irish Times that SR Technics was examining the expressions of interest, and may pursue its options after determining whether they are financially reasonable.
