Royal Jordanian Renews Component and Engine Contracts with AFI

Royal Jordanian renewed its contract with Air France Industries (AFI) for component and engine support for its four A340s for a period of three years. Component and engine support for two A321s was simultaneously renewed for 12 months. Component support includes per flight-hour repairs and access to the spares pool, together with the creation of a main base kit (MBK). The engine support contracts are on a time-and-materials basis, plus per-flight-hour access to the spares pool for engines and engine accessories. The renewals follow on from a full component repair contract signed in 2006 comprising repairs, spares access and an MBK for six new aircraft: two A321s and four A320s.
