Rapco Obtains PMA Approval
FAA has granted parts manufacturer approval (PMA) for Hartland, Wis.-based Rapco Fleet Support to install replacement torque tubes on various aircraft. The PMA covers the Cessna Citation S550 and 560, Fairchild Metroliner SA227, and Hawker 600 through 850 aircraft. Rusty Keagle, sales manager for Rapco Fleet Support, explains that, “OEM parts availability and high pricing has been an issue for operators of these aircraft needing replacement torque tubes.” He adds that operators will have “a less expensive and available option to the original equipment when they need to replace their torque tubes.”
