Pratt & Whitney Canada and DayJet Sign Major Maintenance Deal for PW610 Engine Fleet

Pratt & Whitney Canada has signed a major Fleet Management Program contract with DayJet Services to maintain the PW610F engines powering DayJet's Eclipse 500 very light jets. "This is a breakthrough agreement for P&WC, as DayJet introduces its innovative per-seat, on-demand jet service to the market," said Raffaele Virgili, Vice President, Service Centres, P&WC. "It underscores the competitiveness of P&WC's innovative programs and the strength of our global customer support network to fully meet the maintenance needs of operators powered by our PW600 engines. "The Fleet Management Program (FMP(R)) agreement with DayJet Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of DayJet Corporation, provides comprehensive coverage for hot- section inspections, overhauls, basic unscheduled engine removals and engine trend-condition monitoring.
