Pentastar Obtains Class 3 and 4 Ratings

FAA has granted FAR Part 145 repair station airframe Class 3 and 4 ratings to Pentastar Aviation of Waterford, Mich. Issued on Jan. 14, the ratings supplant Pentastar’s limited aircraft ratings, enabling the fixed base operator to maintain all types of small and large aircraft that are all-metal construction. “These ratings enable our maintenance staff to support additional makes and models of aircraft,” notes Gary Roberts, director of quality control. He adds that the designation will “expand our service capabilities for the many transient aircraft coming through our facility whenever there is a need for maintenance.”
