PAG Opens Vancouver MRO

Precision Aviation Group (PAG) has completed its 15,000-square-foot maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at Vancouver Intl Airport (YVR) in Canada. The opening is part of a consolidation plan for subsidiaries Precision Heliparts-Canada (PHP-C) and Precision Accessories & Instruments-Canada (PAI-C). According to PAG President David Mast, the company had outgrown an 8,000-square-foot site in nearby Surrey, BC and needed to expand, based on growth in business and subsequent staff increases. “We wanted a facility that could accommodate [PHP-C’s] continuing growth and handle the addition of PAI-Canada into the same facility,” Mast explains. He adds that the company has invested in additional tooling, equipment and logistics in concert with the expansion.
