P&W Submits Proposal with Honeywell

Pratt & Whitney and Honeywell submitted a joint proposal to the U.S. Army’s Aviation Applied Technology Directorate to develop an advanced turboshaft engine for the Affordable Turbine Engine technology demonstrator program. Goals for the 300 SHP-class include, 25 percent improvement in specific fuel consumption and a 65 percent increase in shaft horsepower to weight ratio. FOR RELATED NEWS
