Northrop Grumman Wins KC-10 Contract

The U.S. Air Force has signed a nine-year agreement with Northrop Grumman for contractor logistics support (CLS) on its fleet of KC-10 Extender refueling tankers. Valued at up to $3.8 billion, the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract includes supply chain management, aircraft and engine maintenance, modifications and depot-level logistics support. Northrop Grumman will carry out work at its maintenance and modification center in Lake Charles, La. and at the Timco Aviation Services facility in Greensboro, N.C. Other partners in the program include Wood Dale, Ill.-based AAR Corp., Chromalloy Gas Turbine and MTU Maintenance Canada.
