Mx Squadrons to Receive DoD Award

DoD announced this week that a pair of U.S. Air Force maintenance squadrons is slated to receive Secretary of Defense Maintenance Awards. The military chose the 31st Munitions Squadron at Camp Darby in Italy and the 6th/927th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida as winners in the small maintenance unit category. The units will receive the award on Oct. 28 during the 2009 DoD Maintenance Symposium & Exhibition in Phoenix, Ariz.
