Snecma and Snecma Services, which merged on Feb. 1 under parent company Safran Group, have filled several positions to manage the combined entity. Yves Prete will serve as vice president of the MRO division. He is the former head of Sichuan Snecma Aero-Engine Maintenance in China. Michel Brioude is the new VP of the Spare Parts division. He was previously director of Snecma Services’ commercial engines division. The company also named Lydie Guerville VP of improvement initiatives and Jean-Jacques Orsini VP of quality. Guerville was formerly head of the rotating parts machining production unit and Orsini served as Snecma’s VP of research and technology. In addition, former senior VP of Snecma Services, Jean Massot, is now VP of sales and marketing for the merged company.
