Max-Viz Granted S-76 STC

Avionics maker Max-Viz of Portland, Ore. has received an FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) to install its EVS 1500 unit on Sikorsky S-76 helicopters, models A through C. Anchorage, Alaska-based One Sky Aviation co-owners Cary Foster and Sharmaine Vestal designed and developed the STC, which was issued through the Alaska ACO. “The cooperative development of this STC, with direct support from Max-Viz, will have a dramatic impact on safety for EMS, offshore, corporate and VVIP operations,” Foster says.
