Mather Aviation Expands to Van Nuys

Sacramento, Calif.-based Mather Aviation has opened a 15,000-square-foot maintenance hangar within the Keck-Aerolease Center at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) in California. President Victor Cushing notes that while other maintenance providers have been feeling the effect of the economy’s impact on business and general aviation, Mather “has been fortunate enough to be in a position to expand into the locations that are understaffed.” The VNY facility will serve aircraft ranging from single-engine pistons to medium-size business jets. An aircraft on ground (AOG) service will also be available.
