MTC Wins $5.1 Million Potential Value Contract for C-130 Aircraft Cockpit Noise Reduction
Technologies, Inc. announced recently it has been awarded a $5.1 million potential value Flexible Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (FAST) task order to modify Air National Guard C-130 aircraft by installing a speaker-based Active Noise Cancellation System (ANCS) in the aircraft cockpits. MTC will perform the program management, integration engineering and installation work, while the cockpit ANCS components will be provided by vendor partner, Ultra Electronics Controls of the United Kingdom. Installation kit parts procurement and assembly will be performed by Global Aviation Technologies of Wichita, Kansas. The integration work will be performed by MTC's Aerospace Integration Division in Crestview, Florida, with the installations performed by MTC contractor field teams at Air National Guard bases.
