MMEA Purchases Two Bombardier 415MPs

Bombardier has received a firm order for two 415MPs from the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA). A variant of the 415 amphibious aircraft, the 415MP will be modified for surveillance missions, including two side-looking radars, a FLIR camera, an airborne maritime surveillance system and related avionics and communications equipment. MMEA will use the aircraft for search and rescue, environmental protection, coastal patrol and government transportation.
