Lufthansa Exclusive Partner

Virgin America has named Lufthansa Technik as an exclusive partner. The ten-year total material operations (TMO) and line maintenance support contract is valued at more then $250 million. The San Francisco-based, start-up airline plans to begin operation this summer and Lufthansa will provide support throughout Virgin’s network, which includes 31 Airbus A320s. The airline has option for another 71 Airbus aircraft.
