Lockheed to Maintain Customs P-3s

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has contracted Lockheed Martin to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for its fleet of 16 P-3 Orions. Under the $821-million agreement, which covers one base year and has nine one-year options, work will take place at multiple facilities. Lockheed Martin personnel will carry out the operational portion of the contract — including daily maintenance, short-term phase maintenance and minor modifications — at CBP sites. Depot maintenance will occur at the Lockheed facility in Greenville, S.C.
