Learjet 85 Joins Smart Parts Program

Bombardier Aerospace has added the all-composite Learjet 85 to its Smart Parts program. The service, which is currently used by more than 900 operators, offers a cost per-flight-hour plan that covers airframe components, including avionics. Learjet 85 operators will be able to enroll in the program when the aircraft enters service in January 2013. The Canadian manufacturer’s family of service programs — Smart Parts, Smart Parts Plus, Smart Parts Engine Coverage and Smart Maintenance Plus — is currently available on 15 Bombardier aircraft types.
