Santa Ana, Calif.-based Leading Edge Aviation Services has partnered with
Boeing to conduct a specialty paint job on a Blue Angels F/A-18 Hornet that is now on display at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. The aircraft, which had been in operation with “The Blues” training facility in Pensacola, Fla. for around 30 years, was re-painted and then transferred by truck to the museum in San Diego. Leading Edge CEO Mike Manclark says that it was an honor for the company to bring the aircraft “back to life” with the fresh paint.
