LHT to Maintain AeroLogic Freighters

Under a 10-year contract, AeroLogic has selected Lufthansa Technik to supply its total technical support (TTS) package for up to 11 Boeing 777 freighters. Maintenance, repair and parts logistics are all included in the agreement, as well as preparing the aircraft’s maintenance schedule. Effective in January, the deal will also include Lufthansa’s technical operations management program, where the MRO assists AeroLogic with start-up support for the company’s operations and provides integration management services. According to Boeing, the first 777F is scheduled for delivery in May 2009.
