Kingfisher Signs with Lufthansa

An India-based airline, Kingfisher Airlines, has signed a contract amendment with Lufthansa Technik. The extended agreement covers technical support of the airline’s new Airbus A320 fleet, which includes 17 aircraft. During the next ten years, Lufthansa Technik Group will service the airline’s IAE V2500-A5 engines with a power-by-the-hour contract and Lufthansa will also cover MRO support for composite materials such as inlet cowls and thrust reversers.
