Israir Chooses V2500s for A320 Fleet

Under an agreement with Israir, Intl Aero Engines (IAE) will provide V2500 engines for three Airbus A320s. The engine order, valued at around $80 million, includes a long-term aftermarket services arrangement. Deliveries of the engines, which will be in the SelectOne configuration, are slated to start in 2010. According to IAE, SelectOne provides lower fuel burn and carbon dioxide emissions over the base model V2500.
