India’s Air Works Gains EASA Approval
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued repair station certification for the Air Works maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in Hosur, India. The approval follows an audit by the regulatory agency. Airframe and component maintenance on ATR 42-500 and 72-500 regional jets, as well as Boeing 737 Classic and Next Generation aircraft, will be available through Air Works. The MRO plans to incorporate Airbus A320 maintenance in the future.
