Gulfstream Aerospace’s Pres Henne, senior vice president of programs, engineering and test, received the Aviation Industry Leader of the Year award at the 2010 Living Legends of Aviation ceremony on Jan. 22. Pete Bunce, president of GAMA, presented the award to Henne, who joined Gulfstream in 1994. Henne is credited with the design, test and certification of the GV, receiving the Collier Trophy in 1997. Meanwhile, Gulfstream has appointed Dick Johnson to vice president/chief scientist and Tim Farley to vice president of engineering. Farley, who was previously director of project engineering, assumes his new role from Johnson.
