Hangar Development Planned in Yuma

Arizona’s Yuma Intl Airport has announced that it intends to construct a 1.8-million aircraft maintenance hangar that will support the airport’s Defense Contractor Complex. According to airport officials, the hangar will provide services for contractors working with the Marine Corps Air Station and the Proving Ground at Yuma. Construction on the hangar is scheduled to start in early January 2009 and last around 10 months.
