HBC Maintenance Center Opens in Mesa

Wichita, Kan.-based Hawker Beechcraft Corp. (HBC) has finished the first phase of a $14-million service complex at Phoenix–Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) in Arizona. The 26,000-square-foot facility will serve as Hawker Beechcraft Services’ Southwest regional service center and replace an HBS facility in Van Nuys, Calif. A second phase — set for completion in November — involves another 26,000 square feet of hangars and 22,000 square feet of office space.
