GKN Becomes AJW Component Repair Supplier

Under a five-year deal, AJW Aviation has named U.K.-based GKN Aerospace its preferred supplier for composite and metallic structural repairs. The agreement calls for GKN to assess and determine the cost of all composite and metallic structural repairs within a 30-day timeframe. The company will also offer a 12-month warranty on each repair. GKN’s facility in Cowes, U.K. will conduct the repairs and offer an inventory of parts, including those related to flying surfaces, fairings, panels and undercarriage doors.
