GE Will Acquire phoenix|x-ray

When regulatory approvals are received, GE Inspection Technologies will acquire phoenix|x-ray, a company that uses high-resolution computed tomography (CT)/X-ray technology that is used in non-destructive testing (NDT) applications. Terms of the agreement are not disclosed. The acquisition will broaden GE’s NDT offerings, will enhance its capabilities in X-ray testing machines and will add CT capabilities to its portfolio.
