GDAS Mobile Maintenance Fleet Expands

Savannah, Ga.-based General Dynamics Aviation Services (GDAS) has added to its mobile support fleet of vans and trucks that respond to aircraft on ground (AOG) situations. Spread across the U.S., the vehicles transport technicians and equipment, including toolboxes, aircraft jacks, air compressors and parts, to perform a variety of maintenance tasks at remote AOG sites. Some of the vehicles have a laptop computer with wireless connection and GPS. Gulfstream’s airborne product support (APS), which is a G100 dedicated to customer assistance, is also available to GDAS.
