GD Finalizes Jet Aviation Acquisition

Falls Church, Va.-based General Dynamics has completed its CHF 2.45 billion ($2.18 billion) acquisition of Jet Aviation, which provides MRO, completions, refurbishments, charter and aircraft sales for business jet operators through its network of worldwide fixed-base operations (FBOs). Plans call for existing Jet Aviation management to remain in place. The company is now a business unit within General Dynamics Aerospace group. Midcoast Aviation of St. Louis, Mo. and Savannah Air Center in Georgia are Jet Aviation’s principal subsidiaries.
