G250 Takes to the Skies

Gulfstream Aerospace conducted the first flight of its G250 on Friday with partner Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in Tel Aviv. During the 3-hour 21-minute flight, IAI chief test pilot Ronen Shapira examined the mid-size business jet’s handling characteristics and tested various aircraft systems. G250 type certification and entry into service are projected in 2011.
