Flightstar Plans Jacksonville Expansion

Heavy maintenance and modifications provider Flightstar Aircraft Services has unveiled plans to build a 100,000-square-foot addition to its Cecil Field (VQQ) facility in Jacksonville, Fla. The complex will include an aircraft coating facility for narrow and widebody aircraft, a learning center run in partnership with Florida State College, and space for Flightstar’s MRO operations. Construction is scheduled to start this week, with completion projected for late 2010.
