Falcon Pro Line 21 Upgrade Complete

Duncan Aviation has installed and certified its first upgrade of a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics package on a Dassault Falcon 50EX. The aircraft previously had Pro Line 4. The installation is part of Duncan’s Glass Box Project, which is focused on emerging glass cockpit retrofit programs. The upgrade involved using existing Pro Line 4 sensors, radios and autopilots while adding LCD screens, weather charts, enhanced maps and electronic charts with approaches and airport diagrams. Pro Line 21 is also wide area augmentation system (WAAS) capable and lateral precision with vertical guidance (LPV) ready. Duncan plans to conduct similar equipage and certification on a Falcon 2000 this year.
