FAA to Employ King Air C90GTi

Hawker Beechcraft Corp. (HBC) has received an order from the Federal Aviation Administration for four King Air C90GTi turboprops, with an option for a further two. The aircraft will support FAA’s Flight Standards program, which assists more than 600 aviation safety inspectors (ASIs) throughout the U.S. ASIs are charged with enforcing safety regulations for flights within the National Airspace System (NAS). The King Air C90GTis will also support emergency relief and disaster support operations within the FAA.
