FAA Certifies Lineage 1000

Embraer has received FAA type certification for its Lineage 1000 ultra-large business jet, as well as a supplemental type certificate (STC) for the cabin. In December 2008, Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and EASA issued type certificates for the aircraft, which is scheduled to enter service during the first half of 2009. The STC covers the interior, which was designed and installed by DeCrane Aerospace subsidiary PATS Aircraft Completions of Georgetown, Del.
