Embraer Unveils Green Initiative

Brazilian manufacturer Embraer has launched a voluntary program that will allow business jet operators to lower carbon emissions. Through the company’s Executive Care maintenance program, operators will receive a carbon offset module to help curb emissions. The initiative is part of company-wide efforts to develop “sustainable industrial processes, as well as technologies that reduce the emissions of its jets,” says Graciliano Campos, Embraer’s environmental strategies and technologies director.
