Beginning in 2008 and ending in 2011, Egon W. Behle will be MTU Aero Engines’ CEO due to a unanimous vote by the supervisory board of the MDAX-listed company. Behle, 51, has a degree in aerospace engineering and comes from ZF Lenksysteme GmbH, where he was CEO since 2002. Behle worked with Robert Bosch GmbH for five years and then worked with Friedrichshafen-based aerospace company Dornier System GmbH, where he was director of sales from 1987 to 1991. He then served in several managerial positions at Renk AG before being appointed managing director of Fortuna Spezialmaschinen GmbH. In 1996, he joined ZF Friedrichshafen AG and since 2002, has led ZF Lenksysteme, helping the company gain the number three slot globally. F
