Delta TechOps to Install LAN Winglets

LAN Airlines has chosen Delta’s TechOps maintenance division to install winglets on its fleet of Boeing 767s. The airline signed the one-year agreement in part because of TechOps experience with the 767. LAN is hoping to achieve a reduction of around 450,000 gallons of fuel annually with the winglets, as well as a decrease in CO2 emissions.
