Delta Signs with Chromalloy Gas Turbine

The $1 billion, 10-year deal will allow Delta to perform maintenance on nearly 250 additional engines, including Airbus jets, at its Atlanta maintenance facility. Chromalloy is an engine parts supplier. The Delta facility currently employs 4,500 workers and this agreement could mean a larger workforce for Delta’s TechOps. The company’s MRO operations generated nearly $310 million in 2006. For related news
