Joy Finnegan

Dawley Corporation announced recently that the company has completed all requirements to receive AS9100B and ISO9001:2008 certification. Dawley is the first aircraft exhaust systems manufacturer to receive the combined new certifications. The audit was conducted by one of the world's leading management systems registrars, Perry Johnson Registrars. "This certification highlights Dawley's commitment to meeting and exceeding the stringent standards for quality required by the aerospace industry," explained Alan Doers, V.P. of operations. "The standards of excellence set forth by receiving this certification are the result of two years worth of process planning and implementation by the Dawley team. Being the first in our industry to earn both the ISO9001:2008 and AS9100B certifications is something that everyone here is extremely proud of." Doers added, "Part of our AS9100 certification includes the verification of the special processes related to our unique procedures for light gauge welding." AS9100 also addresses the diversity and complexity of the aerospace industry's supply chain and takes into consideration the complex lifecycle of aerospace products.
